Proud to be doing our part to keep California’s critical infrastructure secure and operational, SAGE engineers and geologists are fanned out across Northern California assisting our clients who have experienced storm-related damage.
It’s no coincidence that two members of team SAGE are the recipients of distinctions that are becoming of professionals in their capacity. Dr. Faiz Makdisi, who was recently named an ASCE Fellow, and Mr. Kyle Dushane, who received a Distinguished Alumnus Award from his alma mater, Minnesota State University – Mankato, are outstanding examples of professionals who exhibit an enthusiasm for their area of practice.
SAGE Senior Engineer Kyle Dushane was elected Junior Director for the Sacramento Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). The two-year commitment requires Kyle to work closely with the Sr. Director to coordinate two annual events, and learn the ropes of the organization as he prepares for a future board seat.
A practicing engineer for nearly ten years, Dushane is also a member of SAGE’s Rope Access Team. With extracurricular activities including golf, softball, snowboarding, and most importantly his family, Kyle continues to successfully focus his professional sights on upward mobility.
ASCE is the leading provider of technical and professional conferences and continuing education, the world’s largest publisher of civil engineering content, and an authoritative source for codes and standards that protect the public.
