Water Resources & Flood Protection

Our project experience ranges from investigations for small fish restoration and drainage structures to levee investigation and design in accordance with current U.S. Army Corps of Engineer and California Department of Water Resources standards. We have recently completed geotechnical and/or geological investigations for:

  • Preliminary and final levee design, including seepage and slope stability evaluation
  • Improvements associated with Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) Part 12 relicensing
  • Creek and streambed restoration
  • Fish ladder replacement, restoration, and construction
  • Canal rehabilitation and replacement

SAGE is actively working with agencies including the Department of Water Resources, Bureau of Reclamation, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, California Division of Safety of Dams (DSOD), city economic development agencies, and local water and utility districts throughout the state on water resources and flood protection projects.
