Farhad Rowshanzamir has extensive experience in design of marine, bridge and roadway structures, including non-linear pushover analysis; seismic design, assessment, and upgrade; industrial buildings; and unusual structural systems conforming to various design standards comprising of: ASCE, MOTEMS, AASHTO, S6, IBC, and NBCC. As a member of the ASCE Committee on Seismic Design of Piers and Wharves, Mr. Rowshanzamir has extensive knowledge of the application of linear and non-linear structural analysis of marine structures, berthing structures, and dolphins.
A leader of engineering teams in multidiscipline environments for planning, modelling, analysis, and design in accordance with different North American and international bridge and building codes utilizing advanced linear and nonlinear techniques, such as pushover analysis and time history analysis, he is a noted structural team lead on many award-winning projects in the United States.
Mr. Rowshanzamir’s experience also includes project engineering of various railway/highway bridges; new and upgrade to marine/hydraulic structures; industrial buildings; complex space structures; and unique dynamic water play structures all using various materials such as steel, concrete, reinforced masonry, structural fiber reinforced plastics, and wood. He has performed peer reviews, preparation of construction documents and specifications, condition surveys of existing marine and bridge structures, design build with active field liaison, site inspection, and certification.
